    mesh doesn't respond correctly to prescribed displacement

    I am applying prescribed displacement to series of nodes at a boundary, but when it runs, only those applied nodes move and other parts of mesh stay unchanged. does anybody knows whats my problem? regards

    Hi I am writing UMAT for saturate clayey soil, but we know that ABAQUS built-in porous element is not compatible with UMAT. Does any body have any advise to solve the problem? Regards
