    Standards to cover drafting practices

    I have been trying to purchase standards to cover drafting practices but they are expensive ad seem to cover very small areas, i.e. the size of the paper. Is there a good reference that covers all the drafting standards?

    Offset between hole and slot datum.

    When using a hole and slot for datums can the be offset from the hole. This is a make from design and I was not aboe to align the hole and slot.

    What is the correct way to call out a 45 degree chamfer? Y14.5 clearly says a note 1 X 1 or 1 X 45° is allowed. Solidwork has a dimension style that is C1 for 45 degree chamfers.
