    Code Ed. Add used for NBIC

    My memory told me the NBIC says if you are altering an older Code vessel, you must either use the Edition/Addenda of the original vessel, or the current Ed./Ad, but I cannot find that info in the NBIC. Any help? Thanks.

    PP stamp and National Pipe Bureau WPS

    Can you use a Nat'l Pipe Bureau WPS for ASME PP welding? Normally every ASME certificate holder must qualify their own WPS or purchase AWS Standard Welding Procedure referenced in Section IX App. E. Today I heard of a shop that uses pipe bureau procedures only with a PP stamp.
