Hi everybody,
I am managing a SOL 601,106 with Nx Nastran (NX8). Does anybody know why even if I have required to plot the STRAIN ENERGY in the case control, nothing appear when I load the results?
Thanks in advance
Hi,
I am trying to identify a structural instability with nonlinear solution (106) in a very simple model, a beam loaded by a force acting with a 2° angle of incidence (to generate the lateral instabililty). What happens is as follow:
- setting "ITER, 1" as "KMETHOD, KSTEP", the simulation, as...
Hello to everybody,
is anyone able to tell me how can I set a force to be follower (i.e. mantain its direction against the grid point to which is applied) in NX-NASTRAN environment...
Thanks in advance!
Hello to everybody,
is anyone able to tell me how can I set the force to be follower (i.e. mantain its direction against the grid point to which is applied) in the ADVANCED SIMULATION environment of NX8? (or at least in NX-NASTRAN environment...)
Thanks in advance!
Hello everybody,
does anyone knows how to model a CBUSH-1D in Femap (10.3.1)?
I find easily the card for the CBUSH property, but nowhere information about the mono-dimensional one.
Thanks in advance!
Dear all,
does anyone has an answer to this two problems related to bush preload?
1 - in a 106 simulation, I modeled a nonlinear spring with a cbush with nonlinear F_VS_Displ dependency. Now I am looking to set a preload to this element, and I tried to set the curve to have a non-zero initial...
Hello Everybody,
Does anyone can tell me how can be a non-linear (Force vs displ.) modeled in Nx Nastran 8.0? I need to include non linear spring in a 106 (or 601) simulation, and I know that Nastran allow to do that using the PBUSHT card. Unfortunately I didn't find any reference about that...
