    PLAXIS 2D_Reinforcement steel bars

    Hello! I've started using PLAXIS 2D and I have a question: how can I model reinforcement bars into an elastic section? This bars are designed mostly for shear stress. Can I use plates or this approximation could lead to wrong results? I hope that someone help me!!
