Ductile Iron Pumping Main - Joint Type

Is it commonly acceptable to use ductile iron pipes with push-on spigot/ socket type joints for pumping main where the design internal pressure is in the region of 10 to 15 bars? My apologies if the question had been raised previously. I couldn't find any direct answer in this forum.

    Reducers

I am not familiar with plastic pipes but recently have to use ABS pipes for a project. In order to taper down ABS straight pipes from 355mm OD to 315mm OD, should I use a reducing socket or reducing bush? Both items in the required dimensions are available in the catalogue.
