    Information on D-Shaft Standard

    I'm looking for some information on a standard method of dimensioning a d-shaft on a drawing. I've included a picture to show what i'm calling a D-Shaft. I can't find anything on the web or in my books. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Does anyone know what "aw" stands for if I'm talking about the dimensions of a pipe? (.250" OD X 0.035" AW) I'm pretty sure it's the wall thickness, but I want to make sure.

    2.75-8 Stub Acme M2 - 2G

    Can anyone tell me if the thread form of Stub Acme M2 and standard Stub Acme are the same? I know the pitch and minor diameter's are different, but what about the thread form itself? Thanks in advance.
