    connecting projected mesh

    Guys, I have projected 2d elements (duplicates) from a parallel surface. Now I want to mesh the rest of the surface excluding the projected mesh. How to do that with out disturbing the projected mesh (protecting the boundry). Finally how to connect the whole mesh. Thank you.
