    Any tips to make Inventor run smoother? (when editing complex assemblies and parts) Besides checking Option -> Hardware -> Performance I've heard that in SolidWorks you can make the parts "Light weight". Is there a similar option in Inventor? Thanks in advantage.

    Importing SolidWorks to Inventor

    Im not sure what you mean? My problem is that I have made a part in SolidWorks(SW) and now want to open it in Inventor, and make changes to it in Inventor, but all I get, when I open it in Inventor, is a "Base1" solid that isnt editable.
