ASCE 41-17 Deformation vs Force Controlled Component for Concrete Moment Frames
After much more comprehensive reading I found that deformation controlled component only for members that mentioned in the acceptance criteria table. Other than that, component should be defined as force controlled. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.- Rendradi

Need help to determining which component should be defined as deformation or force controlled for linear procedure. Should I simulate every section to see the load-deformation diagram or there is a rule of thumb? Thank you, kindly- Rendradi
