I have watched the Windows Task Manager as CFDesign runs on my dual core processor. It does use both cores for some of the processing, but not for all. I think that is a limitation of the calculations being performed -- some are linear.

If you know the mileage of the car, you can estimate it from the composition of gasoline and an estimate of the excess air or O2 in the combustion. For velocity you would also need the temperature, otherwise you get mass flow only. The most recent T I saw was up to 1275F (for a race car)...
