Protecting CDA 260 Brass from Dezincification while annealing
The majority of the parts we anneal are 70% Cu / 30% Zn. We anneal at 500 degrees F for 8 hours, gas fired oven, normal atmosphere. Surface finish after nickel plating
Electroless Nickel should mimic the surface of the substrate. If the substrate is polished, the EN plate will be bright - if the substrate is etched, matte finish (assuming all components are within their operating parameters).- FinishingTalkdotcom
