Identifying a design type for a galvanometer

I'm looking for a little ad hoc assistance identifying the designs in the image. I believe 1. is called pivot and jewel, but I've been unable to determine what the second design is called. Any help would be great!http://oi60.tinypic.com/eupwns.jpg
