    I'm in single model environment, I go to assemblies menu and add a component. Every time, the very first component that gets added is automatically constrained with a fixed constraint. How do remove this forever? Thanks!

    Export FEM mesh

    Thanks cowski, I did export .dat before posting but I can't open it with a mesh software like blender or meshlab, I suspect this option is strictly for engineering software like matlab etc. I wanted to use this mesh for 3d printing because it's much cleaner than what the regular 'remesh' option...

    (NX 1872) Change section line thickness/width.

    Well I managed to find a setting to 'disable all line widths' It's situational but works. Problem solved. File/Preferences/Visualization/Edge untick 'Show line widths'.

    When you're in sketch mode, the 'File' changed to 'Task'. just right click the bar and you can disable this toolbar. Its the same window bar that you click to customize your tools.
