welding P5 material (5 Cr .5 Mo)
we have a customer requesting hardness testing of the welds. we have a rebound tester but, the material types we are able to select from are limited to stainless steel, steel, cold worked tool steel, aluminum and copper based material. chrome-moly (P5) is a nickel based material. Nace MR 0103 & MR 0175/ISO 15156
We are currently using the 2003 versions of the above reference documents. I understand that there may be a 2007 version. What, if any are the differences between the 2003 and 2007. Your input is greatly appreciated.- wczimm22
