IT is fulll of terms unknown to a mechanical engineer "- PFj Rider Billing
Addiiotnal base tarrif billing etc.
PFJ rider billing :-
PFJ allocation 300 kw etc.

I have a 60 HP compressor, I don't need such a large compressor, will a VFD reduce the HP? Can I fit a VFD to this thing?

I am new to stator frame sizes. What does the number 56, 48 or 34 'Frame Size' signify in electrical terminology.

I am using bondable wire for my stators, do i need to varnish and bake ? I have the option of buying a 'testing and resistance heating unit'that wul activate the epoxy embedded in the wire.

Hello All,
I have a high frequency induction furnace that is not grounded well. The operator holds his finger near a screw and a spark jumps from the screw to the finger. My question is, why doesn't he experience an electric shock? Is it because of the high frequency?

I am setting up a line for a stator (.75-1.5 hp motor). We are using magnetic wire that already has adhesive impregnated in it, activated later by baking (in an oven). My question to the forum is : Is Application of Varnish before baking necessary?
