    Thanks Walter, I did check it out. Seems to only let specify your default decimal places. What I am refering to is some method that will apply a "dimension place" relationship between the primary and secondary units, so that the secondary [metric] dimension will always be 1 decimal place less...

    I should mention that my current work-around is to right-click a dimension /edit/inherit properties. This is helpful if I already have a lot of dimensions on a sheet, but still cumbersome at best.

    Good Morning, and thank you Toost! The ALT trick is exactly what I've been needing. As for the method of adding appended text, I will give that a try. Our customer is overly critical and picky about the dimensioning, so we'll see if it will fly. Thank you again! - Bill
