    One way that did it was CNC milled the splines. It was a prod run of @500 shafts a day so investment in the 4 axis MORI vmc was worth it. The cheapest way I have heard of is spline broaching. tell us how u finally did it. [2thumbsup] [2thumbsup]

    Hello: Anybody out there knows a better way to cut off PVC pipes than with a mechanical saw . Currently we saw them and then scoop out the plastic burr....pretty time consuming; IS there a PVC pipe/tube cutting machine that cuts clean. I am talking about 6"OD pipes. Thanks for the help...

    Blaum Creep Feed Grinder.

    Sorry for the typo. I have Blaum Creep Feed grinder with a Sinumeric 3G controller. It comes with a 121 clamping check error and 111 LIMIT SWITCH ERROR. I am trying to investigate the origin of this error. THe machine is @15 years old and has had no issues until now. Any help? THanks...
