    Greg, If I read correctly you are trying to do boolean ops at the product level. You need to do this at the part level with bodies. At least this is how I have always done it. You need to insert the bodies in the part level.

    SolidWorks 2005 can open Wildfire 2.0 *.prt files and you have the choice of bringing in the feature tree or a "dumb solid". It is hit and miss as I have seen it. Some times the neutral files just are still the best thing out there.

    Ben, Any idea why Solidworks calls this as an invalid file then? I have tried this a number of times all with fail. Have you had luck with Pro-E parasolids in UG?

    We use both Pro-E and SolidWorks and I have tried to export parasolid files to SW from Pro-E but the file always comes up invalid. What version is the parasolid? I just do a save copy and select the parasolid file type and name the file. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance.
