    wind on golf range canopy

    Yes, it will definitely have uplift. I saw a moveable canopy at a driving range that had been flipped over during a wind storm. Apparently the manufacturer had been making these for about 50 years, and this one was the 2nd one to flip over.

    I use the 0.6 factor on the soil and the weight of the footing. I also agree with StructuralEIT that there is no additional safety factor required.
