    Transition rings

    On my special application I have a transition ring one side R55/ and in the other side R51, which is really important is that both R55/R51 complies the ANSI # 2500, and the width of these rings fits into the groove flange. Why this is not in accordance with API?

    HI We did an oval transition ring R55/R51, in order to adjust flanges 10"ANSI 2500 A 694 F60, with different groove sizes. In the valve side the flange groove is OK, but in the piping side the groove is below the specs . The groove size is 13/16" , but the same pitch diameter. Also...
