Thanks for the idea chryso but I've already tried. We have startup scripts that do not get applied when a user double-clicks on the .CATX files, if they do the app complains about a lot of stuff, so we've gotten our users in the habit of having catia open before they load projects. Anybody seen this error before? SMARTEAM://_STFILE_\\network path to file The trick is, the files that are labeled as not being there are actually there and named correctly, plus, we don't have Smarteam implemented. Any ideas would be welcome.- bsoiled
