    It's general question. Code EN 13480. Seismic code whatever you want. It should be correct with engineering point of view. I think it will be better assume PGA. Peak ground spectral acceleration will be too far... in general, static equivalent is a big simplification

    It depends of the software, for example modeling different thickness of reducer in Autopipe it's quite complicated and time consuming. Impact on the result - negligible.
