Sorry again for the confusion. See attached PDF. Support members on this platform are for checker plate floor per client spec at the request of the client. I had to do that. Sorry, I think I'm just groping with something unnecessary here. The 4'x9' spec is supposed to apply to floor plate, not grating. I have long 2 ft. wide panels @ max span of 5'-6". kingnero, I think you see what I mean. As long as the cross supports are 5'-6" or less, then that should be...- wallenator

Hey, I'm an old piping designer thrust into steel platforms & ladders. Not a lot of familiarity with grating panels. 2 ft. wide panels stacked across.
