    The 1st photo shows a 2-span continuous truss bridge. The 2nd photo shows a 2 simply-supported truss bridge. The span of continuous bridge generally is larger than simply-supported truss bridge. For shor span bridge, simply-supported bridge is easy to built and costs less.
