    Haha, yeah kinda feels that way! Well, solved it by updating the model and saving all components, then repeating this tact in the study as I mentioned before. Now that that's solved, here is the next mind boggling return from simulation... "Midside nodes on two edges of an element are merged...

    Not sure if this issue has been addressed previously, but while generating a mesh and solving a static analysis in one structural configuration...all goes well and results as expected. Once a slight change is made to the geometry of the model, I update the assembly components in the study...
