    Category 3 safety EN standards

    I'm working on a Category 3 safety application for a piece of equipment which is going to Europe. I intend on using a dual channel safety relay(s) with safety rated guard switches and Estop PB's. Apparently EN954 permits one of these channels, but not both, to be operated by a standard PLC...
