marine101, I do not have information about depth in fresh water/vs crevice corrosion. My understanding is that crevice corrosion with 316 SS is not an issue in fresh water. Non-metalic is not really a viable option because I would need to go through a fairly extensive re-qualification process. What about adding a zinc? Does that protect from crevice corrosion or only general surface corrosion?- nickel188
