    I'm guessing that you have a LUM license but from R21 the default license server is Dassaults own license server. If you have a DSLS license then you need to add hostname and port for the license server in a txt file named DSLicSrv (not sure if that is the correct naming) at the location...

    What I understand is that the change to the new designation is because V5 now is using the same 3d kernel as in V6, so V6 models can be translated with specs to V5 format. I also gathered that there are some news in the classic workbenchs PDG/GSD/ASD due to V6 functionalities becoming available.

    If you have one of the tooling workbenches you could just position the bolt and let "drill components" feature do the drilling in all affected parts in the assembly. Another thought, can't you use assembly hole feature?

    Just checked your model and it's made on R17 level.... don't think you will find anyone here with that level installed. Current release is R22 or as they have chosen to call it now V5-6R2012, my point is that it is 5 releases behind and that an upgrade may be in place.

    No ribs is not the way to go, I see it's related to your other tube post. I attached a model with shell based approach. If you can't open it redo it: 1-Create solid bars with Pad feature and those two sketches you have --You should have a T-shaped geometry with circular sections... no hole...

    No, you have a lower release of Catia than I had doing the models.... which release are you on? Sorry to say but I cannot go lower than R19.

    Because there are no natural limits on either side of the profile, move the profile inside the model so that there are natural limits along the guide curve in both directions.
