Galvanic Corrosion Between SS-304 Octagonal Ring Gasket and SA350 Gr.LF2 Cl.2 Flange
With reference to attached pictures, is is possible to have galvanic corrosion caused by SS-304 Octagonal Ring Gasket and SA350 Gr.LF2 Cl.2 Flange being assembled with water trapped between ring and groove? In the groove area and bottom portion of neck flange where water was most likely trapped...- mtk-14

Flange Face Defect Acceptance Criteria ASME PCC-1 vs ASME B-16.5/B16.47
Hi All, Would appreciate if anyone could provide some guidance on when the requirements of ASME PCC-1 should be used as opposed to ASME B-16.5/B16.47 for assessing flange face defects.
