Dear Pierre, Based on your answer for the Cp for DMC I have tried to determine the Cp for Ethylene Carbonate (EC). I made the following calculation: EC mol mass = 88,06 g/mol -> 1.000/88,06 = 11,356 mol/kg. Cp = 158,51 J/mol K Cp = 0,15851 kJ/mol x 1 kJ x 11,1356 mol/kg = 1,80 kJ/kg. I...- Gerardd.

Dear All, I am looking for the specific heat capacity (Cp) in kJ/(kg.˚C) for Dimethyl Carbonate (DMC). I have found the molar heat capacity in a database, but this is expressed in Kelvin: 261 – 540 K. For my calculation I need it expressed in kJ/(kg.˚C).
