You are about correct on the pricing, except that I charge an extra fee to re-inspect if the home fails. (All flat fees, no mileage etc) Yes there is a good learning curve, but once you are through this it is not too bad. HUD Foundation Inspections
Tim, I do a fair number of these certifications for HUD loans. To be blunt, when you identify the foundation type, you always have the option of saying that it is a foundation type "I", (Other type, not one of the standard types).
