    CBR vs Stiffness

Thanks Focht3, How am I measuring stiffness - I am not. Previously the only measurement we have been concerned with is CBR. The correlation between stiffness (Young’s modulus) and ground shearing strength (to 1 m depth) is a major departure from our modus operandi and I am very skeptical...

    CBR vs Stiffness

have been told that you can get the CBR (shearing strength) of a soil from its stiffness. specifically, stiffness, K = 10340 CBR. This would make my task of measuring base / subbase soil strength for aircraft cycles much easier. Is this a correct statement?
