    Set-up of a flow testing system

    Could anyone tell me whether I can do without a Stilling Vessel in a flow system where compressible or incompressible fluids are being used to test pressure relief valves? If yes, do I need to compensate for the volume by increasing the length of pipe work in the system and by how much?
