    SMIAH, I have some understanding of wave period, nonbreaking wave, ahallow vs deep water. But are there any 2D models that are free? psmart, I do not the inflow of the wave and is the reason why I need to model it... any advice on how to estimate the inflow?

    I agree with gbam. You should use a junction to model the split and recombining of the reaches. You can model the flow by using the Flow Optimizations module in the steady flow analysis. (under options)
