Loadings on Tunnel under Conical Stockpile
What if you keep on increasing height of the pile? There will be a cutoff above which increse in ha should not give any increse in design load as arch action takes over and this is how most of the tunnels are designed in shear zones and crushed rocks. This value of ha is in order of 2 to 3 times...- hello321
