Vibration-Proof Fastener
I have tested this product and it does not work. When exposed to severe vibrations the insert ring (with the hooks) starts to slide towards the nut. Same locking result as for nylon insert nut or Metlock.- cim94sm3

Be careful with Loctite! It may act as a lubricant but also as what it actually is, an adhesive. Depending what Kind of Loctite (red, green, blue) and how much you put on the threads it will cause a great deviation in preload for a predefined torque. Vibration loosening of fasteners
We have solved many "fatigue sensitive joints" using Nord-Lock washers, since they actually keep the preload in the joint at its initially level. The damage you get in the base material is pure impression marks, no scratching like one-piece serrated washers. When tightening it slides...- cim94sm3
