Regarding LRFD Bridge Design Specs Table 10.5.5-2, if "Wave equation analysis with assumed driving resistance" is used, the resistance factor is 0.65 * lambda-sub-v. Hello, Does anyone know the source of the 10 ksi and 18 ksi allowable stress ranges for the fatigue limit state of prestressing tendons? The commentary cites no references. Fatigue Threshold Limit - AISC v AASHTO
The AISC LRFD 3rd edition lists threshold stress ranges, Fth, below which no evaluation of fatigue resistance is required...implying infinite life at those stress ranges.
