    i think it may be important to mention that b is base and h is height height being the shorter dimension of the rectangle and base being the longer dimension

    max torsional shear stress = Torque / Section Modulus Q is the equivalent of Zp for circular bars Tmax = Torque/ Q Q for a rectangular section is Q = (bh^2) / [3 + 1.8 (h/b)] i hope this helps, good luck

    it turns out that it was a setting in the OS, and not unigraphics, wasn't too hard to find after i opened my tunnel vision to include more than UG i was bent on finding the answer in UG, it was never going to happen. thank you for your suggestion, azrael

It's as if the part window isn't attached to the main UG window (where the toolbars are) I haven't been able...
