Electric motor frame?
Thank you Waross and everyone else as well. I talked to a guy at a repair shop and he said he might be able to reconnect the coil groups for $400 but if he cant then he would have to rewind it which would be $1600. He says once he gets inside of the stator that if he cant reconnect the coil...- Kmyer74

Electric motor frame?
Hello everyone,this is my first post and its a question about replacing a 3 phase electric motor stator. I have a electric hoist that uses a 5 hp 460 volt motor and i need to replace the stator(armature is new) because all i have is 230 volts 3 phase. My question is,i cant find the exact motor...- Kmyer74
