Why is it that when I start a new drawing, having selected "metric" then create a dimension, then modify the properties of the units it still says feet and inches??
A sub-contractor of ours is creating AutoCAD 14 drawings for us in feet and inches, only problem is that we want them in metric.
How do I change the units so that "64" goes from being 64ft to 64mm - similar to the way that I can change the units in Pro/Engineer from 64 feet to 64mm.

The reason I ask is that I need to generate a series of search paths and typing them in will take...
This is a problem we have recently come up against with O rings and such like in Pro/ENGINEER 2001 so any ideas relating to that package would be welcome
I wish to create a table in a sheet view that will list co-ordinates for the benefit of our outside machine shop.
Is there a way that I can get Pro/E 2001 to generate a series of co-ordinates that represent a 2D profile starting from a given point ??
Does anyone know of a way to add tapered holes (such as BSPT) for water fittings to a .hol file so that they are available as a standard in the drop down box within the hole creation dialog?
Also, are there any web sites etc where .hol files can be obtained for things such as wire thread...
