What is the Different Between Solid mesh Vs Volume mesh in real world?
solid mesh <-> solid elements in your fem model. this mesh can be created in a volume/geometry. btw, do not confuse the discretization methods: finite element, finite volume- FFB12

and are you sure you have the nastran input file, as well as the files XB2_MAT1.dat XB2_GRID.dat XB2_GRID_AERO.dat XB2_CBAR.dat XB2_PBAR.dat XB2_CONM2.dat all in the same folder? anyway, it looks like you have an extra digit in "1520.0000" try this one instead MAT1 200 5.17e+12... -

I guess the material density you provided is not correct. I guess you meant 7.83e-3 instead of 7.83e-9 ? I don't get you mode #5, what are your boundary conditions? I guess it is fixed at one tip and free at the other, i.e. cantilever beam...? -

It depends on the complexity of your model with a large model, if you select many frequency steps, your simulation can last "forever", because you will have too many integration points if your model is simple-ish, it is a compromise between computational cost and results accuracy if you have... -
