    Sewage Force Main Discharge

    I have a sewage force main discharge which is on a long down hill grade after a high point. The line is 6" and the grade is about 15%. I am looking to slow the velocity vbefore entering the manhole. Any ideas how to do this? I am think a larger pipe with as "S" trap.
