    Magnetic properties of 1018 Cold Rolled Steel compared to 1018 Hot Rolled Steel

    We currently make a motor component. The design calls for 1018 HRS. We are not able to easily find 1018 steel in the hot rolled form for the shape that we need but 1018 CRS (cold-rolled-Steel) is readily available. Are these materials magnetically comparable?
