    I have a drawing 123a456DWG that defines the assemblies 123a456-1 123a456-2 Suppose these two assemblies are made up of find numbers 1 - 50. I want to use Auto-Balloons to balloon out these find numbers throughout the entire drawing.

    Thank you for your reply. No we are not willing to undertake the activity outside of NX. If you add two parts lists two a drawing, does the auto balloon feature still work? In my testing I haven't gotten it to work, yet.

    NX 10 advanced simulation, overlapping displacement result with model. Is it possible?

    I'm going to assume you mean that when you scale the displacement so it is true scale (not amplified by some factor); then you get an image in which the part collides with itself. You did not properly set up your model. Perhaps you need to define some contact between surfaces.

    Hello, Is there a way in NX 8.5 or NX 10 to generate "smarter" PDFs? I imagine a drawing where I can CTRL+F for a find number. A PDF that a user could click an item on a PL and have it go straight to the Balloon. Thanks! Frank

    Thanks, John. Yes PMI is one method that I didn't mention above. We all should use it more readily. But PMI can't tell the drafter "Please make a section view here and show these specific dimensions."

    PMI Note Font / Import to Insert->Curve->Text Font

    Thank you for the reply, John. As mentioned before, the font is not currently available in the insert->Curve->Text command. It has a little NX icon next to it. Does this mean there is no way to get it out of NX and into the Windows font folder?

    Thanks guys. In conclusion, I will not be "jumping the chain of command" I will however continue to express my concerns to my supervisor, while documenting every conversation I have with him. If he ever claims I didn't inform him of something, I'll have proof I did and was ignored. :-)...

    The problem is I have tried to help him. I've brought up problems to him to his face, suggested solutions to problems in department meetings. I even made him a Gantt Chart to try and help him realize what was going on. I feel disheartened that all my extra effort is always for nothing.
