    If you have Windows 7 Professional 64 it should work, it will run as 32 bit from what I understand. If you have windows 7 home premium, it probably won't work.

    I got the same system (Dell M6500) as fishon, only with 8Gb ram. I'm just as happy with it, it fly's.... I got mine through the Dell business Outlet for a good discount. It is built really sleek for a 17 inch machine.

    Thats correct, the sidewalk can have the same grade as the road. No ramps for ADA at that grade over 5%.

    Wish I knew how to edit my comment above, The macro might be a little confusing, it basically iterates through Manning's equation to solve for the depth of flow. The Macro can be reduced in size, I just jammed it together to get it to work fast.

    Oops, didn't see the 1-2 hours, sorry. Must be real heavy traffic problems to go 20 miles in that amount of time. I wouldn't want to travel over an hour one way to work, anything more than that will drain you out in no time.

    AutoDesk University was this week in Vegas, they had some stunning stuff to show. The newest 2010 versions of all their software is really improved. They will be placing the videos of the classes they had and demos on the Autodesk University website in the very near future.

    I have the self-inker for a few years now. Have done thousands of plans with it. It comes out crisper than the ink and stamp pad type. Never had a need for anything else.

    You might want to take a look in "Architectural Graphics Standards," I don't have a copy, but I know the have some ramps in it. Mainly for parking garages, I think it might go up to 16% with approach mini ramps at less of a slope to prevent bottoming out as CVG said. We had used it as a guide...

    I don't know what state you are in, but most states have got a lot of money for roadways. My state, Massachusetts is looking for materials people at the Massachusetts Highway Department. I would imagine other states are too.
