I've resolved it.. Its apparently a IBM Thinkpad X61T specific issue.. For some reason I need to hold the ALT key when hitting the exponent shortcut in Prime 2.0.
Yes I've read on the Prime version and most users agree it lost allot of functionality vs. the Mathcad 15 version. I'll give it a try...
