I need to cross hatch using a dot or cross shaped pattern. How do I create this? Changing the line styles so they look like dots will not work as they still print out as lines!
I need to edit the dim value on some dimensions. (don't ask why) I have to do it for certification drawings which require max/min values attached to the parts.
How can I do this without sketching lines and arrows?
I have had this problem for years. I have a casting and a machined part, both have drawings. "HOW DO I DO IT" I ask PTC. Answers ... no idea ...... This problem must be one of the most BASIC ones to deal with, yet I still have no hard fast rule.

1) When I do a save as operation on a part/assm, the instance gives a warning that the name already exist. Which it does! How do I avoid this?

I have used layers to do this, but blanking a part within a sub-assm at the top level will alway blank the part at the sub-assm level.
Is there an...

When using the save as in drawing mode, dims which are common during the save as operation are 'linked' When you delete a dims in the new file, the same dim in the old file goes aswell!!!! Rand have said this is a bug and are looking for a fix. I am unsure what other 'link' are in place. Has...
How can I insert a new/modified part into a current drawing without losing all my dims/views/sections/notes ... etc (not as a family mamber). (SolidEdge can do it without any fuss!)
