    50/60 Hz.

    I will be going to Germany and want to use my Kitchenaid Standmixer. It is a 450 Watt 115 Volt 60 Hz motor. I have a 500 Watt Transformer. I reallize that the machine will be 50/60 slower, but will it damage the motor? Can I have an electrician rewire it to run on 230 volts?
