    I'm sorry the question was unclear. The person that told me to use 3 wire cable started my confustion - I see the need for only 2 wire cable. That was my qestion.

    I want to simulataneously apply 12vdc to two automtive relays which are separated by about 33 feet. can I just wire their dc inputs together and apply 12vdc + and - to one of them? I ask because I was told to use 3 wire cable to wire them. tx
